Each year, Multifamily Executive honors our industry’s best and brightest with its prestigious MFE Awards competition. Winning projects, leaders, and initiatives will be featured in print issues of MFE and on MultifamilyExecutive.com, and awards will be presented during the Multifamily Executive Conference in September 2017. 

Deadlines
Early Registration Deadline: April 7, 2017

Final Submission Deadline: April 28, 2017

Fees
Single entry: $100
Three or more entries: $75 each

Late Fee (applies to entries registered after April 7, 2017): $50 each

Application Process
The MFE Awards are completely digital. You can register, complete the applicable entry forms, and upload images and floor plans by submitting everything through our two-step process. Please do not mail any materials to our offices. 

STEP ONE - Registration:  Register each entry name and its category and pay the applicable entry fees. You will not be able to edit this information after you’ve paid, but you’ll be forwarded to step two to provide additional information. Any entries registered after April 7th will incur a $50 late fee. 

STEP TWO - Submission:  Fill out the required online submission forms by uploading your entry materials, as outlined in the PDF below. You may also return to this website to add to or modify your entry at a later date before submitting. All submissions must be finalized by April 28th.

Applicants can win either a Grand Award or a Merit recognition in each category:

  • Executive of the Year
  • Rising Star of the Year
  • Best Use of Technology
  • Community Service
  • Marketing and Advertising
  • Project of the Year:
    • High-Rise, Apartment (12 stories and up)
    • High-Rise, Condo
    • Mid-Rise Podium or Wrap (4 to 6 stories)
    • Mid-Rise (5 to 11 stories)
    • Low-Rise Walk-Up (1 to 4 stories)
    • Adaptive Reuse
    • Affordable (100% affordable)
    • Apartment Renovation
    • Best Reuse of Land
    • Mixed-Income
    • Senior
    • Student
    • Green
    • Best Amenity

All project award entries will automatically be considered for the Editors’ Choice Award, a best-in-show recognition selected by the editors of Multifamily Executive.
